The BIG Walk

During the BIG Walk we celebrate the outdoors and focus on the positive mental and physical benefits of walking in particular. Our fundraising supports those organisations and individuals who serve or have served, namely the “Blue Light” and Veterans communities. Our carefully selected projects deliver a unique opportunity to refresh, reinvigorate and reconnect with life and work. We help volunteers develop skills and experiences which will help them find purpose and the confidence to find work, or even start their own business – whilst at the same time changing the lives of others.

Meet Tim

Tim Richardson, our Founder, leads the fundraising effort and is the point of contact for anyone wanting to support the BIG Walk. There are 3 separate walks which can be completed separately, or together. In the South of England – the 178km route starts in Wiltshire on The White Horse Way, before joining the Ridgeway Path through Hertsfordshire and Oxfordshire. Moving up to Scotland, we walk from Glasgow the 290km along the West Highland Way to Fort William and then climb Ben Nevis. The final section is along the Great Glen to Inverness. Overall, the BIG Walk showcases some of the finest scenery in both England and Scotland.
