All volunteers learn crafts with a local ladies’ group set up by the “Mama” Mercy, an inspirational community leader who has made it her life’s mission to empower women and girls. When asked if there was one thing we could do for the ladies, she replied: “Bring them bras”. So we did.

A team from Black Isle Group joined the Brighten Up London environmental campaign run by Hands On London to clear an overgrown area of Holland Park.

Our reverse advent calendar in the form of a food bank collection captured the imaginations of our whole office block at Christmas. Generous donations from all the companies enabled us to contribute a large amount of food to the Trussell Trust to pass on to those in need. We will continue to organise season donations.

Black Isle Group’s experts in behaviour change, leadership development and talent analytics advise ex-military men and women on their journey from careers in the Armed Forces to running businesses of their own.

This fundraiser celebrates the frontline heroes of the pandemic – NHS and care staff, emergency service teams and ex-military volunteers – and invites guests to join discussions about leadership, resilience and mental health.

“Our family volunteering holiday to Kenya in 2017 had such a huge impact; the welcome and warmth of our hosts, the teachers and children we met in the local schools, the incredible wildlife, wonderful landscapes and the amazing climate. It was not surprising that our trip ended with a desire to continue supporting the communities we met in some way. The BIG Foundation was born!”
